Iowa House passes HR 114 honoring the 34 sailors on USS Indianapolis

On April 9th, the Iowa House passed HR 114. 34 sailors, 4 survivors, 30 Lost at Sea were honored for their sacrifice and service. Jeff Ortiz, nephew of LAS Orlando Robert Ortiz was instrumental in getting the resolution written and passed. 33 members of the Iowa House co-signed on to this historic legislation. Pictured with Jeff, is retired Lt.
